MGB Sell the GT,or the TR6?

I need to part with one of them,& am trying to think it out.
I have a '67 GT,that's a great driver,but not perfect,with many
thing being done to it.I have other coupes that I could get running,
so I'd be able to work on one of the others.
The TR6 ('74-1/2), is the only convertible that we have,& since
they appear to be going up in value,I probably wouldn't be able to
afford another one,if I wanted one.
Just trying to look at the pros/cons,before I make the wrong decision.

I'm certainly not the best judge of things (I still wish I hadn't sold my RHD MGB) but my thought is simply to sell the one you like the least. We own these for fun, so sell the one that's least fun for you.

Both are good cars, can't fault anyone for having either. Do you want a convertible -- keep the TR6. Which one runs best and needs the least work? Keep that one so you have something fun to drive with the least amount of headache.

My wonderful Wife went out & bought me a new computer.
She was offended when I spent way too much time "talking" to it.
My familiar settings are all gone,as well as ALL of my pictures.
.....& I have a lot of stuff that needs to go on eBay,but have no
pictures to post.

If you bought the 6 for market speculation, keep it and don't drive it. If these were purchased for fun and something to drive and enjoy, piddle with, and restore keep the ones that need time. Hard decision, but monetary value in speculation should not be a decision unless you have a barn full of what could you sell as retirement funds. We all just have so much time left. God Bless Tony Barnhill, his was cut short.

Honetly I need my wife to upload pictures to my computer for me. Getting them up on the site was an acomplishment in itsself for me.

Sell both and buy a nice MGC (GT or convert, whichever you like). That way you own an MG and get all the excitement you want.

I hate to think that I would ever buy a car on speculation.
I NEVER bought either expectecting to make money.
And Bill,I wouldnt buy a "C",as they are out of my reach,&
not exactly my "cup of tea".
My dillemma is - I have the following cars,need to pay bills,
& hate to part with any of them,but I need to.

1. 1960 Ford Anglia - needs restoration

2. 1967 MGB GT - needs some work

3. 1968 Ford Cortina MKII wagon - needs a lot of sorting

4.1978 Datsun B210 - in good shape

5.Triumph TR6 - needs some work,but a nice car - sell

6.1995 Dodge Dakota Club Cab - V8,4WD,needs work

7.2007 Ford Fusion - 4cyl,5spd,paid for - keeper.

If it were me I'd keep the MG and the Fusion. Bills paid, fix the little things, have fun driving the heck out of it. Might be, with so many cars, you like working on them rather than driving, in that case you're on your own!
