I think I know the answer to this one, but, just in case....
On the Vauxhall, I have two "plates" as my seat runner - one bolts to the car, the other to the seat and they sort of interlock and slide. Unlike my Midget, they have a plastic coating on them to aid the sliding. Unfortunately this coating is cracked and deteriorated.
This morning I opened a local car store flyer and they have Plasti Dip on sale. As I read about plasti dip online, it seems that it dries soft and therefore would inhibit sliding rather than help it - in other words, it increases grip.
is this correct? Assuming it is, are there DIY solutions that people might be aware of?
