I bought one from Moss "classic gold" brand.
It is made slightly differently and turns in the stock dash hole. The main reason is that the locking tabs are not "square" but taper toward the bezel. This allows it to turn since the metal dash is thin and the tapering essentially makes the tab "disappear" where it should engage the dash hole/notches.
Also, the knob that came with it had the hole for the spring retainer pin drilled slightly "off" so it would not engage. I had to use my drill press to "oval" the hole slightly so the pin would snap in.
Finally, the lock cylinder is finnicky, and it frequently doesn't want to release the key. So far after fiddling for a while it has always come out.
I ended up successfully rebuilding my original switch and am going to use it and keep the repro as a back up. It's not terrible, but like many repro parts it needs to be "massaged" a bit to work.
