to a friends house, LOL.

Monday my garage is going to get restored, walls painted, new doors, and a commercial grade floor covering. Just like the local Cadilac dealership shop.

Surely was a nice drive over there and she is with friends.

Three race cars and several in the process, I'm sure they will have lots of stories to tell.

The floor covering is a chain linked Polymer with a high fill rate not the 50% used on residental garage floors. This is the commercial stuff and is available through Sherman Williams paint stores. Not the cheep stuff that will not hold up to our kind of useage. Comes in any color you wish and is a special order. Will provide more info when I have it but as I said it is the commercial grade.

I will not do this twice in my life time, one time and do it right.

Boy is there lots of room in my garage with Miss Agatha TDY. Guess I have room for another project.

Oh by the way you all know I have been complaining about my stearing not comeing back to center easly by its self. I put new felt washers in the stearing column and think they are too tight. Will check and fix when I pull the engine.

Also noted that I think my oil pressure gauage is sticking a bit today, another thing to check with the engine out.

Was not even thinking about the knee. Just that it seems that I am wearing out.

My heart skipped a beat there, Jack. I was imaging what Tony described -- going down in the morning to an empty garage. Yikes...

Can't wait to see the garage pics. I'd love to do a floor covering like that some day.

I imagined the worst!

I'm glad that the change in venue is temporary and for a very good reason. Please do post pictures of the new floor and tell us how the coating holds up.

I'm sure we were all pretty much of the same mind reading the header of this post :eeek: !! I figured Jack either totalled Miss A on some test-run  or she had finally been noticed by some nefarious car-jackers :madder: ! The reality of it never even entered my mind!!!!
