I have recently purchased an incredibly detailed model of a 1967 AutoArt 1:18 scale diecast 1967 Ford Mustang. I bought it as a gift for a friend who is doing a ground up on a 67' Mustang. It came today. It is stunning. In hand it is an amazing piece of craftsmanship.
I feel it is time there was a 1:18 diecast made of a Midget. This company must be tops, if not one of the top drawer diecast companies in the world.
If we could all (dozens? hundreds?) send an email to AutoArt in care of 'PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT', and request that they make an MG Midget, and keep doing it weekly, perhaps they would get the message that there is interest.
I have already sent one, describing international interest in the MG Midget, approx. 250,000 manufactured, large club activity, large rebuild and refurbish community, etc.
As we know, there are several developmental 'Mark' changes. I thought we could all request one model as a unified effort, (here goes......OK I'm a little biased), a 1973 Round Wheel Arch, split rear bumper, left hand drive MG Midget. Then if they make it, expand from there to the other Marks and Sprite.
cheers all.
Just 60 seconds of time to get it all going. Then weekly....
