In the process of striping the veneer on a 1971 TR6 dashboard that I'm pretty darn sure is mahogany because of the grain pattern. Is this mahogany or teak factory correct? I personally like the mahogany on this Saffron painted car. My real question is did the 1971 dash come with any lettering on the dash? Searching the forum I've learned the 1969 version came with Letraset type with "hazard" and "brake" under the flashers, while later years had "Lights" under the rocker switch. Is there a modern equivalent to "Letraset" and if so what size? Is lettering appropriate and where on the 1971 model?
