Not only is this young man still going to school, he is restoring a 67 MGB in his spare time. He is doing a wonderful job. Take note of the rotisserie he made out of wood! Looking at his woodworking skills, I can see why he chose wood for that project. I thought it was well worth posting for all to see. Might even pick a couple of pointers. PJ

Paul,

That fellow is doing a phenominal job in his restoration. I am trying to figure out what he did to clean up the carbs!!!

I will pull mine off in a New York Minute to get that kind of clean!!

Even the wiper motor looks great.

Thanks for the link....

Absolutely beautiful.

I can see the first page fine, but if you try to click on ANYTHING such as pics or other links etc it just says that geocities yahoo is unavailable.

The job he's doing is inpeccable. I wish I had those kind of skills. My wife would have a fit though.

What a shame he put it on such a restrictive site. It seems that you can sometimes access the front page using the https:// without the www. But if you try to click on a link you get the unavailable message and the page shuts down????

Paul,

Curse you red baron...

I, unlike our contemporaries, have had no trouble opening the website.

But,alas, as I have reviewed the pictures, me thinks that I am leaning toward a full teardown restoration of MY '66 B....Rather than the surface restoration that has been my intent...

'I did it to my A so why not to the B.', he asked innocently.....

It's that Geocities site! He probably has the free version. Like Rick said, he's probably exceeded his data transfer limit for a while.

Hit the "back" button 3 or 4 times rapidly and it'll go back to the page.

Wonder if his mom (wife?) knows what he's cooking in her oven?

That's the first time I've seen the extra bracing like he put on the rear section. Good idea though! I'd be curious as to what his major is in school. Engineer? Civil/mechanical? I'm probably way off!

Paul - are you talking about the battery box reinforcement?

No Tony, the two longitudinal braces attached to the frame and what looks like forward of the battery area and rear valance area. I guess he attached them in the rear by the two bumper bracket bolt holes. Maybe that's how he attached the rotisserie to the rear of the body?
