Were home also, we dropped the borrowed trailer off and Joann drove the Midget the last 2.5hrs home...sippin on a cold one.

DITTO!! Just got home...beautiful, sunny day...12 hours on the road (I pulled out of the hotel at 6:15 this morning)!

It took me about 8 hours. It was a little cool and very breezy. The wind gusts made interstate driving more entertaining than usual.

The wife and I made in home @ ~ 2 PM.

6 hour drive in our appliance (Honda Civic).

Went into the shop and visited with our 66 Sprite and told her we missed her and we would start back on restoring her ASAP!

Currently she is on her side as a bare tub. I did place the two new rebuilt front shocks that I won in the silent auction next to her along with the grill badge I got for her.

Carolyn and I made it in about an hour ago. 11 hours for 650 miles.

Quite a bit of wind and rain made it a top up drive. Not my preference.

The rain stayed just north of me as I was driving on I64, so I guess it was over I70.

Home safely. A little over 10 hours in my Midget, but the weather was great and it was a pleasurable drive.

I was away at 5am and just pulled into the Motel 6 in Cheyenne WY to end the first day. 800 miles and no problems other than exhaustion. I should get over the Rockies tomorrow morning and get home by Tuesday.

LotO was by far the most fun event I've ever experienced with these cars with the exception of the BusterCluster.
Putting faces and personalities with the names was priceless. Seeing all the cars and enjoying all the well planned activities........... what can you say?

While at the lake I found loving homes for the bugeye shell and Sebring bonnet and now I can get back to searching for the perfect Morris PU or van.

For now, to sleep, perchance to dream...

Dad(ksbugeye1275-supercharged bugeye) and I(miata) made it back to Kansas City without any problems. The only problems we had was dad missing a shortcut along the way home and his fuel gauge stopped working. All in all a successful trip home. Eric

I made it back in the Mini. 12 hours, some sightseeing, LOTS of sandbags along the Big Muddy in MO, and IA. Nice trip, bit blustery, too.

GREAT to meet everyone! I must say, the Mini is the most comfortable car I've had for long distance driving. I feel the least tired and cramped. Although, having to stop every 5.5 gallons and stretch might be part of it.

Must be something in the air down that way, my fuel gauge died about 50 miles from home along with the turn signals. Did the hand signal thing and got it home. I'll figure that out later.

I admit to holding my breath passing Lucas Road..... a road I didn't want to go down.
