He said "top up". Do bugeyes not have heaters in them?
Still too cold for me, those things have got to be drafty. (wouldn't know first hand, never rode in one)

I rode in one with the top up. It was sweet. I didn't notice much draft but it was summer at the Lake of the Ozarks gathering. It was a factory perfect one that set in the lobby of the hotel. Guys name was Leo and he was from texas. That was an awesome ride we took.

Issascratch is just down the hill fvrom Snoqualmie.
It had to have been in the 20's....low, it felt like.....
Everything was frosted, intersections (non-driven portion) white.

Left my Son's place, just south of his drive were blue lights....lots of them.

Somebody bought it.

Drove the Jag to St. Arbucks this morning, snowflakes coming down......hmmmm......

I drove the Midget through last winter, one of the snowiest I can remember.
Like everything else, slow and steady for the win.

I also got to sit in miss agatha and see how much room there is in a bugeye on the driver's side than a midget  Wonderful job jack.

Do you mean in comparison to roll up window/door handle cars? I sorta assumed my MK1 Midget was pretty much BE-ish in the cockpit.

The best way to describe HAN 6/7 Sprites and GAN 1/2 Midgets is, they are somewhat of an evolutionary link. They are part Frogeye and part more modern Spridget, but not all of either.

Yep, your arms have more room and the dash is much farther away. No legs having to squeeze under the steering wheel.

Wow, I would not want to be in a 1400lb spridget in any sort of snow or ice.

...that's what I was thinkin' too !!!!

The main problem (isn't it always this?) is the other drivers.
Everything from that idiot putting on her makeup in the SUV next to you while driving through a foot of snow to the dump trucks (not the ones sanding the road) that have to be driving taking up at least two of the three lanes and tossing so much crap off to the side that you feel like you're in a tsunami when you drive past. The really scary part is always what those other drivers out there are going to do to you. Just because you have a F350 Diesel Pickup doesn't mean you should drive 75 mph past everyone with your superbright lights on high while hitting the snow in between the lanes and tossing it around like a wake behind a speedboat.

But I'm not bitter or anything, just making my way to work in my little british car...
