Not really... Judging from the "Naked Goddess" shifter, the leopard skin carpeting, all of the chrome, the "Heavy Duty" Healey 4.10 rear end (whatever "Heavy Duty" is), the statement that it runs best on 110 octane fuel (Where do you find THAT?), the single passenger seat belt, and the 30 years of ownership by the present owner, I'd say that the owner is more older than younger and is <span style="font-weight: bold">MUCH</span> more interested in <span style="font-weight: bold">Show than Go</span>!

I'd say that, simply, somebody built it "because they COULD", NOT with any specific target or goal in mind.

Since the apprasial was over 10 years ago and was then $36,000 to $42,000, I'd guess that the reserve is at least $40,000.

It seems to be a well (OVER) done car, but with all of its "quirkiness" and limitations it will appeal to a VERY narrow niche market. It'll be interesting to see <span style="font-weight: bold">IF</span> it sells and if so, what it sells for.

The beast's wheels look very much like a set of four "Shelby Cal 500" wheels that I purchased on e-bay a few years ago. These wheels were represented to bolt right on to the studs that are used to hold the Big Healey wire wheel spline hubs in place. The set of four is actually two pair of wheels with slightly different bolt patterns. I never got around to trying these wheels out as carrying two spares (or a wire wheel with all four splines and knock-offs) seemed a bit much. Maybe some day.

LOVE that not all the gauges are hooked up (and WHY should they be?).

I'm not opposed to Nasty Boy Healeys, or modifications in general, but only if they're tasteful, not because you got hung up at the <span style="font-weight: bold">Clearance Items</span> isle at Pep Boys. Just removing that disco-ball bug catcher and replacing it with a pair of 6" air filters would go a long way in validating the car's purpose. Only my opinion, and not necessarily shared by the seller, lol!
