More of the B sorted out, ended up using the dist in the trunk with the ECI unit to get it running a bit smoother. compression good, valves adjusted, brakes finished bleeding, off to around the circle! real rough, dead miss. Back to the carport, #4 dead cylinder. swapped plugs, wires, still #4 dead. Turns out the dist cap has a break at the tower for #4. The exhaust leak is a blownout gasket. Now if I can get the turn signals worked out I will have working lights. The Weber downdraft vcarb won't fit on the engine; the ears that are cought by the bolts and washer are much thinner than the exhaust ears, so back to the DCOE.
At least it is all in good, clean fun
