I've got three Armstrong lever arm shocks that I pulled the filler plugs from tonight (they should all be from Sprites).
A - the filler plug has a single o-ring, sealing to the body of the shock
- the six machine bolts holding the plate over inner workings are Phillips style
- one shock had two flat washers on the 'pin' between the filler plug and the bottom spring; the other had a single flat washer (I may have lost one)
B - the filler plug has a second 0-ring, sealing up against the bore of the shock
- the six machine bolts holding the plate over the inner workings are slot style
Any wisdom out there regards these differences (other than 'don't lose any of the washers').
Thanks
Doug
