I had a machine shop turn a mandrel for me. Cost $10, but that was decades ago (and I have no idea where it is today). That, plus some 3/4" threaded rod, nuts and a flat bar with a 3/4" hole was enough to build a suitable substitute.
The rearmost bearing is particularly tricky, as it's the only one that has a front & back (even though the 3 bearings are identical). IOW, the middle two bearings can be installed with either side to the front, but the rear bearing must be turned correctly or it will block the oil feed to the rocker shaft.
