TR2/3/3A Best Ignition points set?

I was wondering if there are any recommendations for the best points and condenser set for the DM2 distributor? Maybe since I change them every 1500 miles or so (yearly) then it may not matter, but just checking anyway....thanks!

Since I became more conscientious about lubing the cam lobe I have not noticed any issues with the points supplied by the usuals (e.g. Intermotor). Even Rock Auto carries those.

Prior to being careful with the lube I found the plastic now used for the 'shoe' would wear or melt or somehow go away enough that I would lose the gap on long hot drives.

George, just wondering how often do you apply the cam lube?

Probably about twice a year - usually during whatever prep I do prior to a long trip. In the same round of tasks as oiling the rear bearing on the generator, oiling the pad under the rotor -- that sort of stuff.

I use a dab of assembly lube though other lubes have been mentioned.
