Hi Tinster;

Thanx for the Good thoughts but Its easier said in Puerto Rico than here in the Northeast: I suspect your right; Sooner or Later, The Sun will shine & It may even warm-up a bit!!

Wish I were on that Yacht of Yours;

Regards, Russ

PS: I was on My Honeymoon (Over 35yrs ago) in Condado Beach: Is that a Pic of Old San Juan? I drove a Scooter thru there or someplace that looks the same"; Nice and Warm!

Hey Russ-

The photo is Spanish built, fort El Morro that
guards the entrance to the San Juan harbour.
Maybe 5 or 6 miles west of Condado. You would
not recognize Condado today. Wall to wall skyscraper
hotels and super luxury condos.

Any yup, the water really is that deep blue color.

Hope it warms up for all you folks getting blasted
with the latest storm.

Just to let you know there was some nice weather here in the states. 60 degrees and sunny on Sunday in Oregon.

I hope you are all surviving the weather in the North East and it is not as bad as forcast. I hate to say it, but it has been in the 80s here in Scotland - just perfect TR weather.

I even managed to get the collection started and cleaned up last week.

It's not often that we get the good weather, so I'm making the most of it!

Nick, did you paint those cows to match your car or did they leave the factory like that? I notice the one cow is giving your car the googlie eyes!

It was a factory option. They also have a leather interior and twin horns!

Nick.
Where are you in Scotland? My mother's family is alive and well in Penrith England (I hope that's not a bad word for you). One of these days, I'm going travellin' to the Isles, and a chance to come and share a pint or two would do a body good. Besides, Tinster says you were watching as we put his car together, so I feel like I know you. Enjoy that weather, cause here in Canada we are cool (32F) but we missed the snow. And you can tell me how you get wildlife to match your car, or is that life matching art?

Nick,

I don't know here Nick? I kinda question that second photo
you posted. That looks to me like the parking lot of a grand
little pub in Appletreewick in the northern dales that
serves up the best Yorkshire pudding, cooked over a coal
stove, I ever ate. Wellies at the door, of course.

Could it be, you crossed south of Hadrian's wall on your
expedition?

Nice Spit eeJay56!

Are those TR8 rims?

Those look like TR8 (optional TR7) wheels. They do share the same bolt pattern so it would be very easy to get to a wider wheel with them.

Dave,
It would be a pleasure to meet you after hearing about all of your hard work on the Crypt car. I am east of Edinburgh in a small village not far off the A1 (Edinburgh to London road). Only a short detour for you and I am sure you would enjoy a ride over the hills in the TR.
Dale,
The picture was taken in the farm not far from my house where I am lucky enough to keep three of those cars. Sadly the Herald and Triumph 1300 can't legally venture out onto the public roads. There is a good private road through the farm that allows me to take them about a mile at a time.

They are TR8 wheels. I like the look a lot but they are a pain to clean. They had some kind of clear coat on them but the PO took most of it off and I've had a hard time trying to figure out how to get the rest of it. I do get a little rubbing when the wheel is turned all the way but i like the wider tires. BTW we are back to rain and low to mid 50s here in OR.
