Anything that says "100% flawless restoration" makes me worry.
Bet that it has shag carpeting and Miata seats!

It looks like it has a radio.

I thought bugeyes didn't have a radio option.

True?

Ahh- NOW the picture shows up- I didn't get one originally and thought that there wasn't one.

Well...I have a rectangular hole in my dash and what I assume is an antenna hole near the windscreen pillar; was planning on patching those; perhaps I shouldn't.

What I don't see is anywhere that speakers were obviously mounted.

Now I'm intrigued.

Well, you'll never know because there are no complete interior pictures.

I'm totally flabbergasted by this kind of thing. Advertising a car for almost triple what it's worth, then not even including useful pictures. Looks like this will be one of those "Craigslist Queens," which sit on Craigslist forever and the sellers can't figure out why no one wants to buy them. Pity; it might be a nice car for someone.

For a 100% restoration, it has carpet, no Bugeye came with carpet.
It also has the wrong seat covering, no piping.
And that radio looks like it has only 1 knob like a modern CD player.
The original radio was made by Radiomobile and had a self contained speaker.
Dealers could have installed just about anything that would fit back in the day but 100% means the correct radio.
It also has a forward tilt bonnet. Again, not even close to correct.
No front bumper, so it is not 100% complete.
The chassis # is from a 59, the car is being sold as a 60. For that kind of money, they should have done a little research.
I just finished my "budget" Midget restoration and yes, I went through every nut and bolt, so is my $500 restoration 100%?
Well, sort of. I did work on 100% of the car.
Can I sell it for 28,000 bucks?
I don't think so. And it is missing the front bumper too!

It does say "Internet price" so maybe there is a more realistic cash price.

My Bugeye long ago with an orginal radio was a Moderola (sp) with chrome push buttons and a speaker built into the bottom of the radio that went out into the foot well. How do I know, it was 1961.

The more I think about it, the novelty of having a radio in the car might be cool, but I am still leaning towards not including it.

Also, I don't know if my car actually came with one or was dealer-fitted later (not sure how I would know). I need to take a closer look at the hole in the dash; it has several rough-looking "tabs" (for lack of a better word) around the perimeter that might be part of the original cut-out pattern I've seen after doing a bit of research last night.

The antenna hole may or may not be original, but it needs to be dealt with.

someone else can jump in here, but, my understanding is that in the early days radios were always dealer installed, so, it would not have left the factory with that hole.

I think it was a dealer install item. My good friend has an original BE radio from 1959. Dang thing has vacuum tubes.
Very cool.
My dash had some "knockout" sections for the radio under
the dash covering.

Radios were always a dealer installed item. The dash had a place that was tabed for easy cut out depending upon the size radio you had. The antena was put where ever the mechanic wanted to put it.

So, what ever you do is ok as there were lots of different radios and lots of variations on instalation.
