So I'm going to start the dismantling process on Mille GT this weekend. Took a quick look under the car last night and it does look like the rear suspension has been gone through fairly recently -- for the most part all the bolts look new and some of the bits still have Moss tags on them. I have some hope it will all come apart reasonably smoothly.
I've never pulled a MGB rear axle. Looks like the exhaust comes off, then the drive shaft, then disconnect the shock arms, brake hose, handbrake cable. Pull the leaf springs at both ends and it all drops out as a unit. Correct?
If nothing else I'll be able to clean up the fuel pump mounting and lines while the axle is out of the way.
