ZS Carb is GONE!

Nice. I remember seeing that post, but didn't remember that the manifolds were seperated. Have you thought about seeing if you can find a 'friendly' homegrown muffler shop to install/modify the headers for the EGR valve? i took a spit to one once, they asked if the Cat. was a Cat, I said 'don't know'. They shoved a wire in it, and being burnt out, they concluded that it wasn't a Cat. and put a new exhaust on the car with out a new Cat. =)

-D.

Yup, I've thought about having an exhaust shop retro fit a header with the necesary plumbing. I know of a shop locally that should be capable enough to do it too. My only worry is cost on such a mod. If I go all out and have these guys retro fit an EGR fitting to a header, I'm seriously considering having them also bend some pipe to make a new intake manifold to go with it.

I just found these puppies ( https://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SU-CARBUR...1QQcmdZViewItem ) while browsing eBay. They look like they have the necesary vacuum fitting pluse float bowl ventilation! They look like they have everything you'd need to make a conversion and still retain emissions hookups. I'd bid/buy them now if I didn't have to worry about the holidays coming up... Since I'm not going to bid on them I thought I'd point them out to ya'll so they might get a good home... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
