TR6 ZS 175 CD2 stuck air valve/piston

I have a stuck air valve piston.
The piston is stuck solid. I have tried using a long handled screw driver and prying the piston making sure not to gouge or mar the carb body, but no luck.

I have had it soaking in PB blaster for 2 days and tried some Seafoam "Deep Creep" with no luck. All together it has been soaking for 4 days.
I tapped lightly on the areas I can reach with a ratchet extension so as not to gouge the piston but no luck on that either. It hasn't budged.
Is there any trick or tip anyone can give to free the piston?
I have removed everything from the carb including the throttle shaft and plate.
I may have to get another carb if I can't free the piston.
Thank you for any and all advice/tips.

I'd try one of the chemical carb cleaners that are intended to soak the part, like Hydroseal or Berryman's Chem-Dip. A bit pricey but very effective. Looks like WalMart has a 3/4 gallon can of Chem-Dip for $20, but you may have to combine two of them to have enough to cover the carb. Don't let it soak too long, though, as the chemical may slowly attack the base metal as well. (I once ruined a OD solenoid bracket by forgetting it was in the Hydroseal bucket.)

Other tricks I've heard of are soaking in phosphoric acid solution (eg Coke, DX579 or Prep&Etch), or old brake fluid (DOT 3/4). Same story, let it soak but check frequently for surface damage.

But if it's that badly corroded, it may be junk anyway.

I always have a can of this for soaking carbs parts and other small stuff:

https://www.berrymanproducts.com/pr...rryman-chem-dip-carburetor-and-parts-cleaner/

I've gotten it at my local FLAPS (O'Reilly's). One can lasts a long time as you just lower the bits in a basket, whatever comes off sinks to the bottom of the can.

Only caution is to not leave the alloy parts in there too long - check them after a couple of hours.

Okay, Randall got there first.

Well, I soaked the carb in Berrymans Chem Dip for 2 days. Yes I know I am supposed to check it but at this point I just don't see it being usable even if I do get it freed up. No luck. it's still stuck solid. No movement whatsoever.
I see I can buy rebuilt carbs on Ebay for around $200.00 for a matched set. The master carb rebuild kit is 140 and I have already spent 40 bucks buying stuff to try to free up the piston on this one carb.
