I am seriously considdering using this product to galvanize the body of my car after I get it back from the metal stripper and finish the sheet metal replacement.
https://www.zincrich.com/index.html
Its 95% zinc, can be applied with a HVLP spray gun, and/or with a waxoil type applicator for getting it inside body caveties.
It can be topcoated so long as the topcoat is an epoxy, or is sealed properly with an epoxy sealer.
PPG's DP** primers are 2 part epoxy, and the basecoat/clearcoat paint system I'll be using is compatable, so no issues with the binders in the ZRC, or with soapification of the zinc salts that form with the galvanization.
Have any of you ever used this, or a similar product?
What do you think of it?
I'm a complete novice when it comes to painting and paint prep, so please give me your feedback on this.
Thanks,
