Zither!

By coincidence, my old B & D cordless screwdriver finally died yesterday for good. Battery won't hold a charge. Parts no longer supplied so it's off to Home Depot to buy a new one. Any suggestions?

It's hard to beat a B&D or Dewalt
I have an old B&D 9v lithium, that Is great: batteries have lasted 4 years of regular use. Powerful & small footprint.
but this new model got great reviews on Amazon, etc. and cost less than $50.00

looks pretty bulky. The B & D I had was just a straight model with a 4" shank that would still fit in a tight space. I forget the model number. It was over 10 years old.

Yeah it does look pretty bulky... It's about a third larger than my 9v.
if you don't need the extra torque a smaller lithium would be the ticket.

but the lithium battery makes a big difference.

The B&D Li2000 sure looks nice & under $20. On Amazon

When Tom met Phyllis, he tried to resist, but she gave him that come zither look and that's all it took.

I hit a bump at 95 - and rode on Ruth-lessly."
