Why is the damper oil I put in the chamber leaking out the weep in the diaphragm cover? I only put a capful in after I had the cover off. It seems like it comes out when I rev it up.
A common mistake is to add too much oil. Like Larry said ad only enough oil to create resistance when putting the damper back in, halfway up the cylinder is plenty. If your cylinders are full, suck some of the oil out and the problem will go away. Once added after rebuild, I haven't added oil to mine ever since. PJ
