Ok, I should have known that glass-bead blasting my gas tank would create static charge! Memo to self: Next time ground the item being stripped!

Hopefully is was a personal zap, and nothing we will see footage of on the ten o'clock news?

Told Ya!! See above post. Errr post asking about blasting anyway. Be careful, we DO depend on you.

Yep, you did warn me about that! Well, it's not a big deal. Got it finished anyway and the gas vapors have been gone for years.

Am always reminded of the stories (long before the internet) of some guy finding a 32 coupe in the desert, been there for 60 years, drags it home, decides to cut the bolts off holding the gas tank in and it explodes....

In fairness, that was when we were able to have REAL gasoline. :jester:
