No, I didn't buy one but our local Chevy/Toyota dealer has 3 new Corvettes on his lot, one of which is a Z06. Wow! My fully loaded 1970 454 Corvette (2 tops, auto, etc.) cost me $7,200.00. This 2008 Z06 lists for 10x that, $72,000.00. Interesting coincidence in numbers.
 
*psssst!* Bill! It's 10x the car that 1970 sled was. And will run with cars costing over twice what it does.
 
It'll run *past* in many cases. They really got that one right...
 
My oldest son has an 03 Z06. Not the car the new one is, but scary fast just the same.
