.. snowblower!

Most of the driveway had about 3 feet, so I started clearing at 8:15 this morning; finished at 12:30 lunchtime. You shovel the top layer of snow down into the snowblower scoop, then move the blower forward to blow the lower level. Then shovel the next top level, etc. Lather, rinse, repeat.

But that massive pile at the end, left by the DOT plows - yikes. That took two hours itself.

And wouldn't you know, as I was putting the blower away in the garage, I saw the DOT truck go by again, leaving another gift. I gave him the official state DOT "one finger salute".
