Hi! id like to know if a Jaguar xj6 89 with 41,000 khm at 13,000 $ Canadian ($9,000 US) would be a good buy. What about the price of the pieces in case of reparation. Thanks all

I had an 88 XJ6, I loved that car. Sol;d it with 140,000 miles on it a few years back. I still see it on the road.
I replaced it with an 02 X type.
Your car has low miles but a high price tag.
I stopped by a 90 XJ for sale at $3300 US. It had 63,000 on it.
Mine was pretty much trouble free and most of the parts are easy to obtain. My ignition module went on my 88 and I found out it was just a Chevy Module inside a Jaguar box.

The price of $9000 US is out of the ball park, way too high. The XJ6 sedans made from 1990 thru 1994 are far superior and dont have the problems that the 88s and 89s have. You should be able to locate an 1990 or 91 for closer to $4000 or 5000 US, depending on condition. Dont even consider a 88 or 89 regardless of condition.

depends where he is. Where I live in western Canada used cars are very expensive, a '95 would be at $20K Cdn (even 1990 Miata still goes for around $10K Cdn). It does still seem a bit high though.
