Your TR related New Year resolutions / goals?

I want to DRIVE. The last year the Herald hasn't done more than 2 km while I was busy with the kids, the new house......
Driving season will begin in a month or two and I want to DRIVE.

Work through the brake system and get the TR4A on the road. It will be the fist time in 22 Years.

My primary goal may not seem TR related but since my Midget has been on jack stands in my workspace for nearly two years it is. That goal is to get that restoration at least to the point that the car can come off the stands, and preferably have the engine running by spring.

Then for the TR6, have the speedo rebuilt and calibrated, have the tach converted to electronic, and some front suspension. And two in the future projects are to find the remaining parts needed for the scuttle vent cover and finally get OD in it.

lets see i would just like to even out the carbs so i could drive it to my inlaws garage strip the paint and start having fun; no garage here and 18 in. of snow on top of it HAPPY NEW YEAR.

My resolution for 2011 is to ship my 1958 TR3A to England near the end of April, drive it about 15,000 miles till the TR Register International Weekend in Harrowgate, Yorkshire at the end of July and also visit TR owners in The Netherlands, France etc. Then ship it back home in August.

Don what a fantastic trip that will be. If I was retired I would offer to share the expense, and be co-pilot. You must keep us posted on your adventure. I don't know the dates but I would try to include the F1 race, and Goodwood.

Don-

Take me! Take me!

How much do we think we can make off Tom if we all took that bet?

I'll stir the pot.. closing hours of 2010... how bout if I offer a solid 54 TR2 project car for $2500? mehehehehe.. Not absolutely sure I really want to sell, but the project is going nowhere, and I could really use the space.
It may be my new years resolution.

Having been unemployed for all of 2010 (unless someone hires me in the next 3 1/2 hours). I was able to get a lot done on the TR6 this year--basically, it's road-ready. So my resolution for 2011 is to get a job so I can license and insure it and drive it.
