Your dream car

The car "might" be of value if left in that garage for another 50 years.
 
These cars are easy to make go faster..... just call a tow truck.
 
I had the "pleasure" of driving a Yugo back when I was stationed at Scott AFB. It belonged to a co-worker who let me borrow it one day (I don't recall why I ended to borrow his car - probably mine was in the shop). I will never forget how flimsy and cheap the car felt. I wondered how anyone could spend hard-earned cash on such a piece of -
 
Not surprisingly, I'd have it. Not for 10k but fun is fun and there wouldn't be two at a cruise night. :smile:

There may not be ONE at cruise night based on reliability.
 
And I read at one point that in order to be sold the importer had to replace all the glass, lights, tires and a number of other things that didn't meet federal standards of the times. So just imagine how much worse they must have been coming off the boat.
 
As we sat in the office area of our shop about a decade ago, surrounded by cars like a Jag XK150, a 300SL Gullwing, a few Rolls and older Benz examples, a woman walks in and looks around... then asks if we worked on Yugos.

... All three of us burst out in spontaneous laughter. She got 'a bit miffed' and shouted: "Well you don't have to LAUGH!" and stomped out. True story.
 
I had a Friend who was service manager for the local
Oldsmobile dealer.When a Olds diesel (car) would come in,
ALL the mechanics would disappear.
 
Yeah,but what do you know - you own a Fiat.......

I know! :grin: and, right now, as it sits, in a barn with rust and dents and completely stripped it is worth more than any other car I own. figure that out! :rolleyes:
