I've had to cut wire wheels off when the PO never checked them for grease on the hubs! Cut all spokes, toss outside of wheel away, slice open the center part being safe to not cut the hub...pry center of wheel off & check status of hub (usually ruined also).
Ooooh Boy! I just read the link with the VW crowds comments......they are not quite as polite as the MG group! [I wonder if he has a 4" grinder to help out his power saw?]. No one gives him credit for his bravery in posting! ;-)
