You know you have a classic when.....

The compliments can be all over sometimes. I had two great contrasts of this once in San Antonio. First, a couple of young ladies ask me what kind of car I had at a light (the Ladies like the Midget). Then later at another light some guy who'd not shaved or had a haircut in aeons driving a decrepit old van leans out the window and bellows, "That's a baddass car!" Just smile, nod and drive on

Some guy told me the other day that he had $80,000 in the trunk of his car and he would give it to me for my Bugeye. I said "SHOW ME THE MONEY' and he smiled and drove off.

Shoulda told him you had 100,000 inna trunk of yours and if he can open it, he can have it. :highly_amused:

I promise the next time I park there I will take a photo. Might even wander in to the place, since I have never been in the shop. Just might help to further cement our relationship.
Although I have never been in the shop I have been in the Bar many many times. Mainly for a Burger.I don't know why but I have always thought a burger cooked behind a bar just tasted better.

If you're ever in N.O check out Beach Corner at the end of Canal St. They make Port of Call look like McDonald's.
