As I was replacing the tub/shower here, building the shower "from scratch" I suggested Herself could strip down and I'd spray her down with the garden hose in the back yard...
I do not recommend suggesting this. My necrotic tissue is now hidden with long sleeve shirts. :smirk:

when I did our bathroom, took the tub out and put in a 5' long shower enclosure, +vanity ,+floor. Took over a month, son showered outside with a hose (well water cccold) better half and I went to the local pool and showered before getting into the pool and after and swam for 2 hrs. However went to the legion for lunches and that nullified any benefit the swim did.
A few years ago my friend had a leak in his daughter's upstairs bathroom that dumped right into his wife's very expensive 8 foot Steinway. After the major repair, he liked the piano where it was so left it there. Only to have the same happen a couple years later. The Steinway is still under the bathroom but the daughter has long since married and moved to Boston.
