   They're saying on TV that we're gonna awaken tomorrow morning to the same "Festival"!!!

the weatherman here is overoptimistically saying we might get a small dusting. High tomorrow is supposed to be 38F.
But the ground is too wet and warm for anything to stick. Heck it was in the seventies just a couple days ago.

Last Sunday it was 81 and my Dad tilled his garden. We had planned to till ours this weekend, since we had to take Idgy for a drive. I guess we'll be doing neither this weekend.

All this talk about cold weather - brrrrr~! I'm going back over to my thread to warm up. :smirk:

Raining like mad here and warm enough that we will be spared although there will be flooding.

Yesterday I had my shorts on. I look outside my window right now and see about an inch and a half of snow on the ground. By the middle of the week I expect to break out the shorts again.

Thanks for the invite, but I think I've seen enough snow for this winter. Next year I ~have~ to get a better snowblower.

Alan,
The funny thing is...the first snow we have seen this year was on Tuesday (light dusting..didn't even cancel school) and then this today. I was talking to my sister in Denver last Monday and she was complaining about the weather switching from 70's to 8 inches of snow...my response, "I'm glad our weather switches aren't that drastic" Ooops, famous last words.

Got snowed on walking to work today. Only thing worse than bitter cold and snowing is bitter cold, windy and snowing.

I'd love to come down there... We've got zero snow on the ground right now, we have actually had a rather dry year for snow in Calgary, I can't think of that many snowfalls... Although we did have our obligatory cold stretch for about three days back in February ( minus 50 Celcius, with wind chill!)
