YO!! Broke a 1,000 miles

Thanks 2 !

I bought a quart of computer matched two component paint.
($125 a qt-ouch). My paint repairs have yielded a 20/20
paint job. From 20 feet or 20 mph looks real good. My
goodness a lot of wet sanding, polishing compound and buffing involved.

and that's fine by me.

NOT a roll bar, Don. NOT!!

Look at it again !!

I'm preparing a "How to" for it
since it's NOT a roll bar. I designed
it and had it custom fabricated. I'll post
a blue print as part of my How To --in the future.

OK - inquiring minds want to know! What's the purpose of the Dale-designed, custom-fabricated, roll-bar shaped, curved, red attachment behind the seats?

We wait with bated breath ...

Congratulations Dale. I am so glad to hear that you are at last enjoying your TR for all the right reasons.
I think we should have a competition to decide just what that is in your car.
My guess is that it is a device that blows large bubbles as you are driving along!

He's got a big pink polka-dot boa constrictor held captive!

Surrogate trunk monkey?

Tom, we have 4 million folks and 5 million cars.

Huge clue within this quote !!!

There's Pedro-ized and then there's Tinster-ized.
This little car accessory falls into the latter.
"form follows function"- in my world.

Does the windblocker help?
What did you notice when installed?

Looks good Dale.

Nice try!!

Nope- NOT a wind blocker either.

But it does serve it's intended design function
very well. Particularly in slow moving traffic.

Dry fit frame at welding shop. Top closes just fine.

Additional brake light holder. And a very nice
one, at that!

And thanks, Brent. Looks like Basil has taken
liberties with my avatar area. Cool with
me.

Congrats on breaking the mille miglia mark Dale. I think Amos is remembering what its like to be driven regularly and likes it. You just had to awaken the sleeping TR. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Way to go Dale. You inspire those of us who are five thumbed wrench benders.
