April 21, 2007: Mount Hamilton Run

This is one heck of a fun driver's run. One of my favorite drive's we will start at 10:00 AM in Morgan Hill for coffee then head out for an awesome 200 plus turn ascent of Mt Hamilton to Lick Observatory stopping for lunch and a quick tour of the telescopes (schedule allowing) then head down to Livermore. Bring a sack lunch.

Whadda ya think? Are you in?

Directions for caravan: Meet at 9:30 AM at Starbucks Coffee 251 Vineyard Town Center Way, Morgan Hill (Corner of Tennant and Monterey) Depart at 10:00 AM

Nope BH, You guys are too far north for a short run like that for me ,but I appreciate the invite!-- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif---Keoke

Bighly, a couple of years ago when we went on that ride one of the cars had a gear box problem and had to drive all the way down the hill (200 turns) with out being able to shift out of third. It is an fabulous drive. Another British car club was there with a large assortment of cars. Very fun day. I was sorry we couldn't make it this year. See you at Dixon?

WOT! couldn't he have put it in Spanish OVD??---Keoke- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Okay, I'll bite. Spanish over-drive? This isn't an Imus thing, is it?
I just got back from Puerta Vallarta Thursday. They got nice cars since last year. I spotted a Cayenne, big Hummer, a Jag and assorted nice SUVs (jeeps, Hondas, Toyotas, etc)and their gass was about 2 bucks (converted from pasos per letter in my head so not too exact but way less than the $3.60 I paid yesterday).
