I am the owner of AN5L29072, a very nice Bugeye. Bare-metal body resto was done (on a California rustless tub) by friends in Ann Arbor, completed spring 2007. I'm in College Park, MD. I did the motor (used to be a professional mechanic, worked my way through school turning a wrench), it's a +.040 rebore, everything balanced and blueprinted, high-comp pistons, Cooper S rods, Kent 266 cam, Keith Dodd 1.5:1 rockers, Titan manifold, HIF 44, LCB exhanust, lightened flywheel, Datsun 5-speed (old type with the odd shift pattern). Other mods include tube shocks at 4 corners, disc brake conversion. It's a very streetable car, just drove it to Carlisle and back. Will post a photo when I remember to bring my thumb drive in.

Welcome, sounds like a fun little bugger.

Stay posted in the Spridget forum, we can use you there.

How was Carlisle?

Welcome to the Forum - there's a few Maryland members around you! Another Bugeye - that's great. Post your pictures over in the spridget forum, you'll get plenty of responsees!
