Was invited by BCF member hottvr to attend a museum crawl at this place to meet some of the Alfisti in the area. I'm not too "clubby" and usually that's good for me. I must say the folks I met yesterday are not the types of owners encountered in past similar experiences. Great bunch, beautiful cars. A beautiful Montreal, several Spiders, a 124 and a V-6 Alfetta GT were the cars there.
I parked my rust-rat Spider well away from their examples to keep the rust mites from contaminating any of 'em.
An apres-museum stop for a bite and then the FUN began. hottvr followed me back to th' hovel, we parked my lump and went to visit a friend of his a few miles south of me, an Alfisti of the first waters!! an immaculate "drop-nose" early GT with a whompin' 2L, tweaked very neatly. Coulda used a drool cup, frankly.
All-in-all a great day!
...oh, and I know you guys'll start barkin' about no pix. I'll have to ask permission to make some images on another visit.
Ya gotta be patient. Mickey's gonna flip.
