Forsooth and verily, Nutmeg. If frequent or plurality usage controls whether an aggregation of letters is a word, why are "forsooth" and "verily" still in my dictionary?

Not sure where "... frequent or plurality usage controls ..." came from, but you answered your own question! :angel: You just used the two words - proving they're still in use.

Merriam-Webster says they record the language. They don't decide what's in the language.
