Off to a good start Friday evening. Out with a friend, some decent food, a few drinks, great music and the mistake of hooking up with my dot and her friends about 12:30 in the morning. But I digress...

Drove the wheels off both my cars again this weekend. Glorious weather, 80 both days. Probably drove 6 hours yesterday, between 2 cars (I can't neglect one of them, can I?) And again today, from 1:00 or so til 8pm! I easily logged over 200 miles on the country roads.

I'm tired, I'm sunburned and I'll never get the knots out of my hair.

OOPS, where'd that come from?

My kind of day! I had a great one last week, too. Drove the GTS to see Dave Dubois and took the long way home. I can't say how fast I was going over the mountains on a public forum. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

And I see you were driving the "proper" MGB. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

ATTA BOY, GIRL!!!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Sunday afternoon I put the top down on the Blue B that's going to its new owner in Canada in a couple of weeks & put about 100 miles on her. Felt great to be back out on the road!

Nice! Me, on our first 80 degree sunny day of the year, did yard work for hours. Tunebug is up on stands, missing parts.

Yard work? What is this yard work you speak of?

So Sunday I'm upstairs in new building constructing work tables for my new picture frame shop, and I hear the 100-6 starting up downstairs in the garage - got downstairs just in time to see my girlfriend waving good'by as she took the car out for a run. At least the car got out, even if I didn't.

Those roads look vaguely familiar!

Yeah. Inquiring minds wanna know.

Those are all IL roads Rick, less than 5 minutes from my garage door.

One of those downsides of home ownership. Digging holes and lugging large quantities of crushed rocks. No, really.

We love our house, but we didn't really look closely enough at the yard when we bought it. And for some reason, my wife wants a bit more than weeds in the yard. Me, I think the dandelions are pretty yellow flowers... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Remember "Don't Snort the Dandelions"

That might be a somewhat obscure reference in this day and age. I wonder if any of you might remember where it came from. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
