My son found this old photo from 1971 of me and my sister and my really bad 1970 Corvette 454 roadster in Mulsanne Blue. At least at one time, I was bad. 24 and there's so much more. In the Army then.

My uncle was "bad" then too. His was white. He's a bit older though.

1971... hmm. Wouldn't a guessed it from sis's outfit. :smirk:

Nice hair, BTW.
Yours, not hers. What'd ya do with it?

I wasn't born yet, but I would have been jealous if I had been.

You think you was bad?!?!?!?! I was TWO and had a battery powered DUNE BUGGY !!! 2 and so much to do. Dad stripped the wheels off of it and used them for rollers on the boat trailer. He said it was broke, I don't remeber it being broke. Seems you'd think I would rememeber seeing I rememebr HE TOOK MY WHEELS AND PUT THEM ON THE BOAT TRAILER !!!!

(I know, I know, you might be a red neck if.... but I assure you, we're not. They won't claim us.)

The front wheels had to come off to change the plugs on that Rat Motor. Only kept it a year from new. Couldn't afford the tickets. Salary was only $12K a year as a captain in the Army. The car was loaded. Two tops, all power, TH400 tranny. Paid full list. $7,200.00 plus TT&L. I think that is the sales tax on a new one now.
