Wonder what they did with the original engine...

Pro'lly. whadda shame.

Wonder what th' owner weighs... with and without bling.

Sorta like "Young Frankenstein"...the hump moved!

This isn't my cup of tea, either, but let's remember that it IS someone's, and he may be reading our remarks. OK?

Thanks!

Actually they dissed his car over on another forum, too. The owner posted as a new member and called them to task. Justifiably. Each to his own. George Barris would have been proud.....

When the Gong Show was first run and popular, people added the Continental kits to all sorts of vehicles, even VW beetles which also had a Rolls Royce body kit available.

Chocolate shag was popular too, Avocado and Harvest Gold appliances. My VW bus had real wood paneling and burnt orange shag (guess why it was burnt, afterall it was the 70s!). But it's not the 70s and some fashion trends just aren't ... what they used to be. If it was my car, I'd want to know. Not pretty in 2010.

At least he has the only one like it!

Doing it "Your Way" is much better, IMO, than doing exactly the same thing as everyone else!

No, it's not what I would do to my own car, but that's exactly the point. It's his car, and it should please him! If so, mission accomplished!

Actually, the owner stated in the other forum that the car was built by someone else in the '70s. He bought it that way. Cut him some slack, guys. Each to his own.

Agreed, ................ until the owner wants to sell it, then the opinion of the buying public comes into play.
