Popped the top on my little can of whoop-booty today. It was sunny and I just completed the rebuild on a set of SU's that would make mister Skinner himself proud! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif I'm putting them on my mom's '68 Midget to put it back stock (I'm gonna put the Weber up for auction on eBay) and so I headed over to make the swap. 'Bout a half hour drive along a scenic road called Marine Drive that runs right along the might Columbia river and past PDX. That's the second time this week I've been able to go topless. It was nice. It only took about 2.5 hours to do the work but of course the ride home was dark already and a half hour in 40 degree weather was brisk to say the least /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif but those first few cool rides are always the most fun! The only way the day could have been better was if the SU's worked out proper. D'oh /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif Was only getting gas to the front carb but even on one carb the car wasn't running badly HAHAHA I think I must've done a good job indeed. At least my Midget is running excellently!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
