I have the same cover.....Used to have a tonneau.
(girlfriend called it a tarpoo)

After I got the car repainted, I couldn't bring myself to drill a bunch of holes for the pointy things.
(And there were 2 on the door where I rest my arm)

Seems to work OK....If it rains while I'm driving, I hide under a bridge w/ the Harley guys. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
 
im with Kenny....i throw a small tarp over the cockpit on those nights im to lazy to put the top up proper, and i know its not gonna rain. ; ) ..zzimmmmy
