Ya had to mention the goodies, didn't you? Like the head and manifold and overdrive! THANK YOU! Now it's not just another pretty face, it's a 'gift' for that sort of money. I'll be back while I go impress dahubby with the worth of that stuff!

Quilting?....QUILTING? That's even worse! I know of a couple of women who have rooms specially built or converted to house their quilting hobby! Does hubby know how much THAT can cost? Then add the cost of the fabrics, and the storage. Better warn him /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif Stick with LBCs, they're cheaper!

Actually (SHHHHH!) I do quilt. Dahubby's gramma taught me when she was about 94 years old! That's IT! I'll get together the loudest, most obnoxious, overbearing women I can find (and I know a few!) and we'll start having 'quilting bees' here a few nights a week. Set that frame up right in the middle of the living room, between the sofa and tv...in a week he'll be BEGGING me to burn the quilting frame and buy a car!!!

But the car looks too good to part out, but I agree it is a project car or it would be a decent driver in a few months. Take a day to make the drive and look at it if you can, but the parts make it worth at least $1500 for the car. I predict that it will go for close to $2000 if someone local looks at it closely.

My wife's 10 quart already has a couple quarts of oil in it from the MG, but it should be clean when I use it to wash the cars...Even though not as knowledgeable as others in this forum, I would recommend pulling the trigger. With the value of the parts alone, there really isn't a way to come up too short on this one, and your other B looks kind of lonely...
