Saw my brother-in-law Jim over the holidays and the subject of my cars came up. To my astonishment he told me he owned a midget back in the sixties (Jim is a very rotund guy). Well he e-mailed me a picture that I thought I'd share. Jim is the one on the left with a friend who also had LBC.

"Mods"!!! WOOHOO!!!!

That was a NYC photo inna '60's?!?!

I think Barry hit it: That coulda/shouda been a sales brochure photo!

Cool photo, and story.

More folks had these little cars than we think... I told my cousin about the Bugeye, and he told me that his stepdad (now passed on) had one in the sixties and loved it. They've touched all sorts of folks over the years.

Heeey!....I had one in the sixties...and I have another one today too woohoo!!, AND...I am not alone around here who can say that either, Huh, guys?!!!

Your's truly looking a little Modish at the Glen in '67
PS: I am leaning on the debut model of Fiberfabs' Aztec

Heh, I had one in the 60's one in the 70's one in the 80's and now one in the 00's. Total of 3 so far. Seems I can't get it right.

As John Lennon said: "I'm a Mocker." ('68)

Ah, well put "Dapper Doc"!
Yeah, Jack I managed to have Sprite through each of those decades too, just not BEs! Wish I had pix of them, here is a rare photo of a '64 I had in the'70s

Very dapper there, Doc!

I'd love to share, but I wasn't born until '71.

Here is me and my eldest Daughter Back in the fall. She was helping me clean garbage out of the boot and we found a vintage Pabst Blue Ribbon can. My wife thought it would make a good picture.

"Conditioning" Doc, the jarhead LOOK! Must be an Airforce thing, Jack. My other son, in the USAF, grins from ear to ear in his uniform pix too. You guys must just have a rosier persona to project eh!
