I liked the ford tractor TR3. Looks a lot like my 1947 8N without the Triumph.

In defense of TR3 owners everywhere, it didn't have a Ford tractor motor - it had a Ferguson tractor motor! While the Fergie and the Ford had much in common (Harry Ferguson designed the 8N/9N tractors for Ford), after a falling out with Ford, Harry started his own company. In England, the tractors got Standard Vanguard derived motors (as did the TR3), while elsewhere they got Continental motors. It's an interesting reflection of the times to note that there were 2 series of Fergusons - the TE20 and the TO20. The E stood for England and the O stood for overseas. In other words, there is England and there is "foreign". Moreover, here in Canada we got the TE models, while in the US they got the TO models. I guess Harry figured Canada was still one of the colonies! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF
