XKR extended warranty

I am very excited to have just acquired a 2004 Jaguar XKR. The factory warranty expires in a couple of months and want to buy an aftermarket warranty. Jag dealers in my area suggest Easy Care, which I think is owned by Ford. Has anybody here have any experience and offer any suggestions or recommendations regarding such a product?

only to read the Fine Print, and Very Carefully, because that's where they nail you when you most need it.

Also go online and investigate the company, for example: go to google.com and type: "complaints Easy Care" or "complaints against Easy Care".

you might be shocked at what you find out!

Before Aegis/Apco/Easy Care; I rate GE Money(used to be GE Capital), then Fidelity, before Easy Care. Again they offer different policy and coverage levels, get what suits you. If you can't find what you want at your dealer(the F&I departments usually get locked into one company for the commissions) call a few Insurance Wholesalers,or other dealers F&I people,(not necessarily Jaguar) they should be able to refer you.
