STOP!! Never post your email address in open forums. Bots can "harvest" your email! If you must share your email use a Private Message or use the 
smilie in place of the real @

How do you get the panel to go all the way down or better still for access, take it out.

Remove the radio console bolts/nuts and remove. It will then tilt down all the way.

Take care not to over bend the consul on removal. Sometimes they like to hang up on the fitting studs
