XKE Series 2 Heater Valve

The 2 valve mounting bolts go through the valve then through the aluminum spacer block before screwing into captive nuts on the firewall. The short heater pipe comes out through the firewall and goes into the heater valve passing through an o-ring in the spacer block.

The other pipes are pop riveted through the firewall, but this one isn't. What holds this heater pipe in place to prevent it from being forced out of the valve due to coolant pressure? I suspect that I am missing something on the pipe.
