Xk8 rotors

Question?

I just put new pads on my 2005 XK8 with 30,000 miles...I had to replace the rotors also because they would be too close to tolerance when I resurface them.

I find this to be awfull early for new rotors..

Anyone else with similar experience?

Pete

I guess that it depends on your driving style; is it "good morning Vicar" or "yahoo and away we go"?

Heavy car, agressive pad compounbd, not too unusual. Besides the rotors are (or should be) comparatively cheap.

If you do not drive like your wife, do not buy an aggressive pad for your car. Most men drive with the thought that stops happen and plan accordingly.

Thanks Guys!

The car is my wife's. She's a hellraiser! My Jag is the E-type.

We don't have a woman-proof pad for a Buick, and you think Jag brakes will last?
