XK140 Roadster Body supporting methods during Removal Process

I'm planning on removing my XK140 Roadster body for a complete restoration. Since only the Sills hold the front & rear body sections together, I'd be interested in seeing photos of how other restorers have supported the body halves together during removal. The only method I've seen so far is a temporary brace was attached across the door openings, to ensure the Sills didn't buckle etc. during removal. My car is rust free, but I expect a similar support method is needed for all roadster body removals.

You measure the door opening and get round or square and cut to fit with metal tabs on each end with holes drilled to match door catches and bolt on or just weld temporarily in place. couple pices each sie should hold and keep from twisting. Upon removal check for body square.
